Perspective
Today I installed the oxidized iron sheets in the gallery space. As you move around the installation, the perspective shifts dramatically. From the front, the rust textures create an almost monolithic presence, but stepping to the side reveals how light passes through the gaps, casting intricate shadows on the floor. From above, the arrangement becomes a map of oxidation patterns. Each angle tells a different story—what appears solid from one viewpoint becomes transparent and delicate from another.

The weight of iron
I have been experimenting with oxidizing iron sheets using salt water and vinegar. The rust creates a texture that feels alive, yet ancient. It connects the industrial rigidity of the metal with the organic decay of nature.

Shadows in the workspace
Lighting is not just about visibility; it is about sculpting volume. Today the afternoon sun hit the clay busts in a way that erased their features but emphasized their silhouette. I must capture this.
